Application Guide
Follow these steps for professional results with Krylon spray paints.
1. Surface Preparation
Clean the surface thoroughly and allow to dry completely. Sand glossy surfaces lightly to improve adhesion. Mask off areas you don't want to paint.
2. Ideal Conditions
Apply in temperatures between 50-90°F (10-32°C) and low humidity. Avoid windy conditions that can cause uneven application and overspray.
3. Proper Technique
Shake the can for 1-2 minutes after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Hold the can 8-10 inches from the surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each pass.
4. Multiple Thin Coats
Apply several thin coats rather than one heavy coat to prevent drips and runs. Allow the recommended dry time between coats.
